Wrapped Apps Corporation, a market leader in the Software as a Service (“SaaS”) industry. The partnership will enable Validian to deliver Validian Flash Communicator™ in an on-demand mode for the first time.
Wrapped Apps, founded in 1999, is a leader in supplying enabling technology that facilitates the offering of desktop, enterprise and web based applications to be delivered on–demand. SaaS adds a new dimension to software deployment that constitutes a dynamic pay-as-you-go Internet delivered service relationship. Such relationships provide small and mid-sized organizations with a suite of enterprise applications that are similar to those available to Global 1000 organizations and a service relationship with a provider that ensures ongoing value. The SaaS model offers small to mid-sized organizations lower cash outlays for enterprise-class software (meaning reduced investment risk and higher ROI), ease of implementation, limited internal resource requirements, full application lifecycle involvement with the SaaS firm, continuous support and seamless upgrades, shared risk and single-source accountability, and the benefit of continued client feedback that enhance features and service.
Validian Flash Communicator will be delivered using
Wrapped Apps Corporation’s AppsOnDemand technology, enabling the full functionality of Validian’s Flash Communicator to be provided to users in a Software as a Service, self-subscription architecture. Release is scheduled for late in the third quarter. Software as a Service, self-subscription architecture will enable end users to access Validian Flash Communicator from any Internet-connected computer through a standard web browser and benefit from the inherent application-level security of the Validian product. The flexible
Wrapped Apps license subscriptions can be for any time period including one-time use, day, week, month, quarter, annual or multi-year.
